3-D Peachy Challenge

This week I used the new Peachy Keen Stamps stamp of the month for the 3-D: Fall Sports challenge. I stamped my own backgrounds on both blue and orange cardstock and then layered them together to make my pinwheel. The football in the set was perfect for my center! My DH snatched this up right away and placed it with his football collection. Guess he liked it.
Enjoy!

Trick or treaty...

It's another Anything Goes week for the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge. Every year we camp down at the beach the weekend before Halloween and I like to have a little something for our younger camping companions. These little bags are just the right size and the right amount of candies for the little ones. For my coloring I used my Prismacolor pencils I just got for my birthday from my DH (that I ordered of course hehe). I got a to good to be true deal I think. I got the 150 piece set for $126.99 final cost. I believe they go for more than 2x that at Michaels and Joanns. I think I did an ok job in my coloring but it's gonna take some practice for sure. Hope you all like my little project.
Enjoy!

Regular Please!!

I think it is important for people to know which coffee is which. Wouldn't want a Decaf person to end up with fully loaded coffee. Although some might get a giggle out of it. LOL So here we have label cards to let people know which is which.

Better late than never...

It's Anything Goes week for the Peachy Keen Stamps challlenge. This challenge came at the perfect time as I needed a gift bag for my sister's gift that didn't get shipped to me in time for her birthday. Althou she knows what I got her I didn't want to just hand it to her unwrapped so I used my Peachy Keen Stamps to create a bag. My bag could have used to be a little bit wide but it works :)

Our Little Jager

This week I made a cute little fire hydrant chipboard mini album for our Pembroke Welsh Corgi Jager. Isn't he cute? And full of EVERYTHING!! Love him!
Enjoy!

And a pup was born

That's something that would have been good to know. Jager should have been the star of the movie Marley and Me. LOL

Before the hour was up that poor chicken was missing it's innards

He was being good cause he ate 2 sprinkler heads.

Jager was actually just being good here.

Jager LOVES toys. He has to carry one at all times. That kong toy was actually stuck on his lower jaw. We have no idea how he did it. He waddled around the backyard happy as came be with it stuck there LOL.

Here is was chewing on his bed and told to stop.

Jager wanted so bad to play with Shelly but Shelly doesn't like playing with him. But she did love to tease him.

Neuter Day

Jager LOVES to swim!!!!

Like I said....Jager is full of EVERYTHING...even bubbles!

Anything goes!

I've been looking everywhere for another ruler for my daytimer planner with no luck so what better than to make one on an anything goes Peachy Keen Stamps challenge week. The little baby piggy and the little baby cow are just too cute I had to use them this week. I stamped 2 of each and glued them back to back. I also doubled up some heavy cardstock and laminated it all when it was all put together. Punch some holes snipped a little off, stuck on some post-it notes and they work perfectly!

Enjoy!

PKC 13-3 :: 3-D Objects :: Bears, Bears, and Bears, Oh My!

This weeks Peachy challenge left me not knowing what to do. I figured everyone would be doing cute little Valentine bags and boxes and I didn't want to create something that looked to much like someone else's so I enlisted my DH help. As we walked through CVS he came up to me and handed me some gumballs and said "Here...Peachy these." Perfect! The gumballs them selves are very pretty colored and super shinny (I should have taken a picture of them also) But the packaging wasn't BEARY cute (hehe). So off to plan I went. Everything I came up with totally hid the whole thing and I didn't want it to be over BEARING lol. And then it clicked..sometimes simple can be BEARY nice and eye pleasing. Thanks for the help honey!

Enjoy!

I used my Spectrum Noir markers for this and maybe it's just because I have only used them a couple of times but I'm not a big fan. There are a couple of things I do like about them like the nibs, well actually that's about the only thing. Maybe they're just not for me.

Happy New Year and a new Peachy challenge

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is having a good New Year so far! Although our family was spread all over the place for Christmas this year we got to spend a little time with everyone and that made our Christmas wonderful. The fact that Santa left me a Silhouette Cameo made it AWESOME!! I haven't even been able to take it out of the box yet because we have been so busy :\

Our New Years was fabulous! We camped for 5 days with almost all of our family and our granddaughter who LOVED IT! Our daughter didn't get to join us because she not only had to work but was also sick :(. After our camping adventures we had to rush home for my sister's wedding. Congrats again Kerri and welcome to our crazy family Joe!

Now on to this weeks Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge. ANYTHING GOES!!
I know I'm super early with these valentine bags but I want to get my Cameo out of the box dang it LOL. We will be camping the day after Valentine's Day so I thought it would be cute to give these to the family kids when we all arrive at Rancho Jurupa. More candies will be added before we leave so it doesn't get all stale Eww! I think they came out pretty cute but they took a lot longer than I thought they would to make.

Enjoy!

PKS Challenge 46 :: 3-D Objects :: Ornaments

My project for Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge this week was full of lessons learned!
  1. It's really hard to stamp on a round or curved glass object! Finally used the back of my hand as a stamping block. Don't laugh! It worked best of anything I tried and I tried a lot of stuff LOL.
  2. Stazon stamps onto a glass ornament better if you ink and then stamp off before stamping the ornament.
  3. Sometimes Stazon dries really quick and sometimes it doesn't.
  4. The clear glass ornaments from Walmart have a thin layer of something coating them. I assume to maybe keep them from shattering if dropped. But if you get cleaning solution on them it starts peeling off and very easily at that.
  5. To do the glitter ornament thing it is probably best to use a floor cleaner with a wax in it. The pledge future cleaner I bought was the multi purpose one (didn't realize at the time there was a difference) and well the glitter now comes out the top like a salt shaker now that it is dry LOL.
  6. The Stazon ink stayed on my stamp a lot faster than the glass :( No matter how I have cleaned my stamp or how quickly after stamping I can NOT get the Stazon off LOL. My poor stamp will never be the same :(
  7. I do not think I like to use Stazon!
  8. I spent WAY to much time stamping and wiping off over and over on those dang ornaments (we're talking about 2 hours worth...crazy I know!)

Here is only the last stamp off sheet LOL

And now my poor badly stained stamp

And the finished product
Enjoy!
Something so simple should not have taken me hours LOL

Peachy Keen Challenge 41 :: 3-D :: Wall Art

So I decided to experiment with stamping on a crackled wood plaque for a challenge. I really thought this little bumpkin girl would be super cute so I went for it. I painted, crackled and then painted again my little wood plaque. I then stamped the little bumpkin girl Madisyn and colored her in with my copics. Sometimes things look better in your mind.
So...mistake number one - Should have stamped her using Stazon and not Memento. The Tuxedo Black ink came out kind of a grey color on the paint and smeared when I used Mod Podge to seal everything.
Mistake number two - Should have just used acrylic paint to color her in. You can forget any kind of blending on painted wood :(
All in all Madisyn herself is a cutie so I'm going to enter her into the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge anyway.

Here she is!

Enjoy!
Sorry for the super bad picture.

Boooo :(

So at Peachy Keen Stamps this week is Challenge 36 :: 3-D Objects :: CandlesI tried to recreate some super cute Halloween candles I saw on Pinterest by The Gold Jellybean but I only had one bubble shaped votive candle holder and not any tall straight ones. Oh well, thought I would give it a try anyway. Also instead of using the wiggly eggs I thought it would be cute to use a Peachy Keen Stamps face. It didn't would out as well as I thought it would but I got a " That's cute" from the passing by hubby LOL.
